Welcome< To THE HEART OF ENGLAND Crown Green Bowling League We are a crown green bowling league based in South-East Birmingham, Warwickshire and North Worcestershire. We were founded in 1973 as probably the first mixed league in the area. The league was comprised of only six clubs in the first season (Garringtons, White Swan, Alcester Unionist, Tanworth-in-Arden, Wootton Hall & White Hart) but has now grown to forty three clubs with fifty three teams taking part in our Thursday evening league and a further sixty seven teams in the Over Sixties Section which plays on Friday mornings.
